Amazing Acres

Privacy Policy

Effective Date: 09/16/2026

Amazing Acres ("Amazing Acres," "we," "us") operates amazingacres.com (the "Site"). This policy explains what information we collect when you use the Site, buy tickets or passes, book a party or field trip, sign up for our newsletter, or visit the farm, and how we use, share and protect it.

Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Ticket and pass purchases: your name, email address, phone number, the items you buy, and the amount paid. Payment card details are entered into a secure form provided by Square and go directly to Square. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Season passes: the name of each pass holder and a photo of them. You can upload the photo yourself from the link in your order email, or a member of our team can take it at the gate on your first visit. The photo lets our gate staff confirm that the person presenting a pass is its holder.
  • Party bookings: your contact details, the date and package you choose, the birthday child's first name and age, and any notes you add.
  • Field trip requests: the school or group name, your name and contact details, the number of students and chaperones, preferred dates and programs, and any comments.
  • Newsletter signup: your first name and email address.
  • Customer accounts: your email address and, if you choose to save them, your name and phone number. Signing in uses a one-time code sent to your email. There are no passwords.
  • Messages you send us: anything you include when you contact us by email or through a form on the Site.

Information collected automatically

  • Ticket scans: when a ticket or pass is scanned at the gate we record the time and result of the scan.
  • Device and usage information: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and how you arrived at the Site, collected through cookies and similar technologies described below.
  • Bot protection: our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated bots. Turnstile runs invisibly and processes information such as your IP address, browser characteristics and interaction data. Cloudflare's handling of that data is described in the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
  • Browser storage: the Site stores your cart, checkout details and a record of completed orders in your browser so that a page refresh does not lose your place and a purchase is not counted twice. This information stays on your device.

How we use information

  • To process orders, issue tickets and passes, and admit you at the gate
  • To confirm and manage party bookings and field trips
  • To send transactional email: order confirmations, tickets, sign-in codes, booking confirmations and pass photo requests
  • To send our newsletter and offers you have signed up for, such as the Free Kettle Corn coupon
  • To verify season pass holders and prevent pass sharing or fraud
  • To keep the Site secure, prevent spam and abuse, and diagnose problems
  • To understand how the Site is used and to measure the results of our advertising
  • To comply with law and enforce our terms

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Tag Manager to load measurement and advertising tags on the Site. Those tags currently include Google Analytics 4, Google Ads and the Meta Pixel. They use cookies and similar technologies to record page views, purchases and other interactions, to measure advertising performance, and to show you relevant ads on other sites. Google and Meta may combine this information with other data they hold about you under their own privacy policies.

You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, manage Google ad settings at adssettings.google.com, and manage Meta ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies, although parts of the Site, such as checkout and account sign-in, need cookies to work.

Our website platform also records anonymous, first-party events about which pages are viewed and how design experiments perform. These events are not linked to your name or contact details.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Site and the farm, and only for the purposes above:

  • Square, Inc. manages payment processing and customer records. It receives your name, email, phone number, purchase details, and the payment card details entered into Square's form.
  • Resend, Inc. handles sending email communications. It receives your email address and message contents.
  • Google LLC provides analytics and advertising services via Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and Google Ads. It receives device data, usage data, and purchase events.
  • Meta Platforms, Inc. handles advertising measurement via the Meta Pixel. It receives device data, usage data, and purchase events.
  • Cloudflare, Inc. delivers bot protection along with security and performance services. It receives IP addresses, browser characteristics, and interaction data.
  • Vercel, Inc. hosts the site. It receives standard web server logs, including IP addresses and requested pages.
  • Convex, Inc. hosts the database and application backend. It receives the stored information described throughout this policy.

We may also share information when required by law, to protect the rights and safety of our guests, staff or business, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business.

Children

The Site is intended for adults booking visits and buying tickets. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Parents and teachers give us limited information about children, such as a birthday child's first name and age or the number of students in a group, so we can host the event. If you believe a child has provided us information directly, contact us and we will delete it.

Season pass photos

Pass holder photos are used only to verify identity at the gate. They are stored securely, viewed by our gate staff when a pass is scanned, and are not used for facial recognition, marketing, or any other purpose. Photos are kept for the life of the pass and deleted within [90 days] after the season ends. You may ask us to delete a photo at any time, although a pass without a photo may require ID at the gate.

How long we keep information

We keep order and booking records for as long as needed to run the business and meet tax and accounting obligations, generally seven years. Newsletter information is kept until you unsubscribe. Account information is kept until you ask us to close your account. Gate scan logs and analytics data are kept for a limited period and then deleted or aggregated.

Your choices and rights

  • Newsletter: reply to any newsletter email or contact us to unsubscribe.
  • Account: you can update your saved name and phone number in your account, or ask us to close it.
  • Access, correction and deletion: contact us to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We will honor requests except where we need to keep records to complete a transaction, comply with law, or protect our legal rights.
  • Advertising: use the opt-out tools described under Cookies and analytics.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state or national privacy law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections, hosted services with their own security programs, and access limited to staff who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the effective date. Material changes will be announced on the Site.
