Pulley System

One of the amazing attractions we have at the farm is our goat pulley system: a bucket on a rope that carries snacks straight up to the goats!

Way up on the platforms above, our tree-climbing goats are hanging out and waiting for a delivery. You scoop feed into the bucket down at the bottom, grab the rope, and haul it up hand over hand until it reaches them at the top.

The goats know the routine. The second that rope starts moving, they crowd right up to the edge with their ears forward, ready to dig in! It's one of the best ways to feed our climbing goats, and it pairs perfectly with a stop by the tree-climbing goat platforms right nearby. Keep your camera out for the big arrival at the top!
